Eiko Grimberg: The Years to Come
Eiko Grimberg is interested in stories and their narration. The years to come describes the story of a hitherto unexplained explosion on New York's Wall Street ion the 16. September 1920. From contemporary archival material and newspaper clippings, as well as from still visible historic traces, Grimberg is weaving a narrative, that does not explain the story, but enlightens how histories are formed.
Eiko Grimberg (* 1971) lives in Berlin. His most recent project was “When Germans clap, it's like we boouuh”, an artist’s book about Germany in the USA and vice versa. The author is co-founder of the artist-run gallery Amerika.
