Tische Türen Tasten

Nothing we see and realise is seen for the first time. In Martina Sauter’s works, familiar film stills complement her photographs of her own immediate surroundings. The resulting ‚realities’ are always constructions, and serve as examples for our perception. The digital book Martina Sauter: Tische Tüten Tasten brings together a large number of these works, it documents these photographic pieces and details the process of their conception. This publication also includes Sauter’s filmic piece L’Autre et son Double, several interactive widgets, image galleries and exhibition simulations.
