Costa Vece (*1969 in Herisau) is a Swiss artist working with video and installation. He lives and works in Zurich.
Vece grew up in the canton of Appenzell Außerrhoden in a family of Italian/Greek origin. From 1989 to 1994, he studied at the F + F School for Experimental Design in Zurich. In 1998 he had his first solo exhibition in Zurich Helmhaus, in 1999 he took part in the 48th Venice Biennale. Vece received the Federal Prize for Fine Art (1997-1999) as well as numerous other scholarships. Many of his installations deal with the themes of roaming and migration.
