Anita Di Bianco

Anita Di Bianco was educated at Columbia University and the SUNY-Purchase Center for Editions, earning a Masters in Fine Arts from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, with postgraduate study at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Born in New York City, Di Bianco has lived and worked in Germany since 2007, after an initial year-long residency at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin. Her video/film installations and works in print have been shown internationally since 2000, at such venues as PS1, Kunstwerke, the Kunsthaus Zürich, the Rotterdam Film Festival, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Kunstverein Braunschweig, Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers, K21 / Düsseldorf, the Kunstverein Salzburg, the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, the Glasgow International, Waterside Project Space and Camberwell College in London. She has taught courses and seminars at numerous fine arts academies, most recently at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste from 2016 to 2019.
